Love is indeed kind no matter who your neighbor is or who they are. To deny someone’s holy humanity denies that we are all children of God, loved and redeemed by our Lord and Savior.
I have witnessed and heard the voices of hate and pray for those who are subjected to it as well as those who need to repent of their hate. We should not hate or deny anyone love and their place in society.
It pains me to see and hear when God’s creation, all of us, are judged by what they are and not by who they are. We can do better and grace takes thoughtful effort. Hate is a lazy emotion and a choice. So is kindness.
