This morning, our Women’s Ministry gathered for our very first monthly morning meeting as we began the Emotionally Healthy Woman group study together. It was such a meaningful time as women from multiple generations and campuses came together in fellowship—to connect, pray, and grow in deeper relationships and discipleship.

We’re already looking forward to next month’s gathering and can’t wait to hear the beautiful testimonies that will come from these moments together.

Some love is loud.
Some love is temporary.
The love of Christ stays.

"For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord." — Romans 8:38–39

If today feels heavy, remember: you are held by a love that does not leave.

Thankful for this past Saturday for our college prep seminar. It was a great time of learning, conversation, and sharing helpful resources for parents and students navigating the college journey. We’re so thankful to John and Susan Sheen for hosting and for John’s insight, wisdom, and real-life experience that brought clarity and encouragement to so many families. It was encouraging to see our community come together to learn and support one another. We’re already looking forward to next month’s community seminar!

When God calls… do we answer? Or do we send it to voicemail?

All of us have hidden places — quiet spaces where compromise can slowly seep in and integrity can erode. Scripture reminds us that this struggle is part of the human condition: “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). None of us are exempt.

When God brings conviction, correction, or a gentle nudge, the question isn’t if it will happen — it’s how we respond. Do we lean in, or do we push back?

Often, we tell ourselves familiar lies:
• Everybody else is doing it
• One time won’t hurt
• I can handle it
• This feels right, so it must be right
• Nobody will know

But compromise never stays contained. What looks stable on the outside can be crumbling on the inside — and when it collapses, there’s always collateral damage.

Here’s the good news: failure doesn’t mean you’re finished.
God doesn’t abandon His work.

“He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion.” (Philippians 1:6)

If you’ve made a wrong turn, your race isn’t over.
If you’re hurting, discouraged, or tempted to give up — praise Him right where you are and get back in the race.

Your missteps do not define you.
You are still under construction.
The Master Sculptor is still at work.

We’re grateful for our second Rooted groups who have just wrapped up a wonderful 10-week session together. Through this journey, our Little Neck and Mineola campus families grew in fellowship and deepened their relationship with God. It was a meaningful season, and our group plans to continue meeting beyond the 10 weeks to keep fostering community.

We’re also excited to announce that our next Rooted session begins January 18! We can’t wait to see more people in our church get plugged in, experience deeper community, and grow in life together.
