I am the son of Mrs. Rosalie Clark Jones born on November 11, 1974 at the Physician's and Surgeon's Hospital in Shreveport, Louisiana. I am married to Sherry Banks-Holland and we have 3 children (Shamorea, Shatorea, and Curtis) and 1 grandchild ( Toriante Nicholas)
I confessed Christ at the age of 6 at the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Empris Mims. There I was al
lowed to exercise the gift of playing the piano and organ. I am a member of Morning Star Baptist Church of Shreveport where Dr. Theron Jackson is my pastor. I attended Ingersol Elementary School, J.S. Clark Middle School, and graduated from Caddo Magnet High School. From CMHS. I also attended Northeast Lousiana University in Monroe, Louisiana where I received a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education. I have earned a Master's of Theology Degree from the United Theological Seminary (May 2012) where I served as a professor for Master students. Currently I graduated with a Master’s of Education in Educational Leadership from the Louisiana State University and looking to pursue a Doctorate of Education degree upon completion of the Master’s program. I am currently the proud pastor of the Saint James Missionary Baptist Church in Minden, Louisiana and the Music Teacher at Booker T. Washington High School. I have taught in the Caddo Parish School System for 22 yrs. I am a member of Music Educator's National Conference (MENC), Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Alpha Phi Omega Fraternity, Inc., Phi Mu Alpha, F&AM Masonic Order. I am also a certified Chaplain for the Shreveport Police Department as well as the Webster Parish Sheriff’s Department. I have been a clinician and facilitator for many conferences and I've preached all over the United States and performed in foriegn countries. I am the lead musician for the Sunday School Publishing Board of the National Baptist Convention USA Inc. I am thankful that the Lord has allowed me to Pastor one of the greatest churches in the Minden area and that He has allowed our congregation to touch many lives, evangelizing the lost, and exercising the gifts and talents that He has blessed us with.
