CONSIDER THE PROMISE — NOT THE PAST | PART 2

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” — 1 John 1:9

Being born again doesn’t mean you’ll never make another mistake. But when you do, you don’t have to live under the weight of it.

Confess it to the Father. Receive His forgiveness. And then refuse to carry the guilt.

The enemy will try to keep reminding you of what you did, even after God has cleansed you from it. But when God says you are forgiven and cleansed from all unrighteousness, believe Him!

You are in right-standing with God. You don’t have to hide from Him or approach Him ashamed. Come boldly. Your mistake does not get the final word—God’s grace does.

Don’t let yesterday’s mistake rob you of tomorrow’s promise. You’ve been forgiven. Live like it!

CONFESSION OF THE DAY:
I am forgiven, cleansed, and in right-standing with God! I refuse guilt, shame, and condemnation. My mistakes do not define my future. I come boldly before my Father, knowing I am loved, restored, and made righteous through Jesus!

Consider the Promise — Not the Past | Part 1

“Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ… he is a new creation… the old has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come!”
2 Corinthians 5:17 (AMP)

Everyone has a past. But if you’re going to move forward with God, you have to consider His promise more than you consider your past.

When you were born again, you became a new creation. Your mistakes may be part of your story, but they are not your identity. God isn’t asking you to keep carrying the guilt of someone you no longer are.

Stop allowing your past to speak louder than what God says about you today.

Confession of the Day:
I am a new creation in Christ! My past does not define me, disqualify me, or determine my future. The old has passed away, and I choose to believe what God says about me. I am forgiven, made new, and moving forward into every promise He has for my life.

✨ Destiny Minutes with Pastor David

In today’s Destiny Minute, Pastor David reminds us that sometimes the way back to joy is simply to remember. Psalm 103 shows us the benefits of being in covenant with God—His forgiveness, healing, redemption, loving kindness, and goodness toward us.

Don’t forget what God has already done.

Look Inside

“Does the Spirit of the One who brought Jesus back to life live in you? Then the One who brought Christ back to life will also make your mortal bodies alive by His Spirit who lives in you.”
Romans 8:11 (GOD’S WORD)

Do you need healing? Strength? A quickening in your life?

Look inside.

The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives in you. Think about the power of that! You are not facing life empty or powerless. The Spirit of God is present within you, bringing life, strength, and power.

Sometimes we look everywhere else for the answer when God has already placed His Spirit within us. Your answer may be closer than you think.

Confession of the Day :
The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives in me! His life is working in my body, His strength is working in my weakness, and His power is greater than anything I face. I am not powerless—I am filled with the Spirit of the living God, and His life is at work in me today!

Empowered to Succeed in Everything

“Blessed are those who listen to me, awake and ready for me each morning…”
Proverbs 8:34 (MSG)

Do you know what it means to be blessed? It means you’re empowered to prosper. God’s blessing isn’t just a nice thought—it’s His power working in your life so things go well with you.

The blessing is only as powerful as the One who gives it. Since our blessing comes from an unlimited God, it carries unlimited power.

The key is staying close to Him. Our victories are born out of intimacy with God. The greatest reason people experience defeat isn’t because God failed them—it’s because they’ve drifted from His presence.

Stay close to Him, and you’ll walk in the power He’s already given you.

Confession of the Day:
I am blessed by Almighty God and empowered to succeed in everything He has called me to do. I walk closely with Him every day, and His wisdom, favor, and power go before me. Everything I put my hand to prospers because I live in His presence and trust in His promises.

Stay With It!

“We’re not quitters who lose out. Oh, no! We’ll stay with it and survive, trusting all the way.”
Hebrews 10:39 (MSG)

Every setback tempts you to quit. Every delay whispers, “Give up.” But faith doesn’t quit.

Sometimes your breakthrough is just one more prayer, one more act of obedience, one more step of faith away.

What if Jesus is asking you today, “Will you do it one more time?”

Don’t stop on the 13th attempt when your victory could be on the 14th. If you refuse to quit, the enemy can’t defeat you. Stay faithful. Stay expectant. Stay with it.

Confession of the Day:
I am not a quitter. I walk by faith, not by sight. I will outlast every trial because God is with me. I choose to trust Him one more time, believe one more time, and obey one more time. My breakthrough is closer than I think, and I will stay with it until I see the promise fulfilled.

Discernment, Discretion & Diplomacy

“The right word at the right time is like a custom-made piece of jewelry.”
Proverbs 25:11 (MSG)

Knowing the right thing to say isn’t enough—we also need to know if it should be said, when it should be said, and how it should be said.

Before you speak, ask yourself three questions:

• Discernment: Does this even need to be said? Sometimes the wisest response is silence.

• Discretion: Is this the right time? The right words at the wrong time can still produce the wrong result.

• Diplomacy: Am I saying it with kindness? Truth should heal, not wound.

Our words have the power to build up or tear down. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide not only what you say, but when and how you say it.

Confession of the Day:
Father, I submit my words to You. Give me discernment to know what to say, discretion to know when to say it, and wisdom to say it with love. My words bring life, healing, and peace because they are directed by Your Spirit.

Knowing God

“This is eternal life: to know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You sent.” – John 17:3 (God’s Word Translation)

Eternal life isn’t just about living forever—it’s about knowing God.

The kind of “knowing” Jesus is talking about isn’t simply knowing about Him. It’s the kind of relationship built on time together, trust, and intimacy. Just as a husband and wife grow closer by spending time with one another, we come to know God by seeking His presence daily.

God isn’t looking for a casual acquaintance. He desires a personal relationship where nothing is off-limits.

So the question isn’t, “Do you know about God?”
It’s, “Do you truly know Him?”

Confession of the Day:
Father, I desire to know You more every day. I set aside distractions and pursue Your presence. I will not settle for knowing about You—I will know You personally. My relationship with You grows deeper, stronger, and more intimate each day. Thank You for revealing Yourself to me as I seek You with all my heart.

PUT PRAISE OUT FRONT

“Praise the LORD! His love never ends.”
2 Chronicles 20:20-23

Life will always have battles.
As soon as we begin walking with God, the enemy will try to discourage us, distract us, and pull us away from Him.

But King Jehoshaphat did something powerful before battle.
He put praise out front.

Instead of focusing on fear, he focused on God.
And as they began praising, God began fighting on their behalf.

Sometimes life hits hard.
Sometimes we feel worn down from the battles we face.
But praise reminds us that God is still in control.

Do not wait until the battle is over to praise Him.
Praise Him in the middle of it.

When you keep praising through the trials, God gives strength, peace, and victory to keep moving forward.

Confession of the Day:
“I will praise God through every battle. He is fighting for me, strengthening me, and leading me to victory.”
