Friends of Capitol Drive Lutheran Church

Friends of Capitol Drive Lutheran Church This page continues to Sound the Love of Christ after worship services have ended on September 25, 2022. were transferrd to the Region 5 ELCA archived in Iowa.

All of the archival records including baptism, wedding, funeral, etc. Capitol Drive Lutheran Church was a group of baptized Christians who met Christ as we received the love of God through Word and Sacrament in Sunday worship. We also served Christ by sharing the love of God with one another and our neighbors in need. We lived Christ as God continually forms us as the Body of Christ, a church that

is inclusive, forgiving, affirming, and working for justice and peace. Our mission statement said:
"Capitol Drive Lutheran Church - A Congregation Sounding the Love of Christ by caring for the poor and vulnerable in our Community."

As we head into fall approaching Rally Day next weekend, in many churches, this particular Sunday offers a time of renewal with the start of many activities such as Sunday School, youth and adult bible study, youth group activies, and many other fellowship activities that resume in the fall.

On the recent post of the annoucment and link to Bonnie Lund's obituary, admin of this page took a look to see engagement and other aspects of that post. We discovered the following:

"Friends of Capitol Drive Lutheran Church" has 167 total followers

Age groups:
65+ = 36%
55-64 = 19%
45-54 = 21%
35-44 = 16%
35-44 = 16%
25-34= 6%

Of these numbers, only 5 people saw the annoucment of Bonnie Lund's passing. Of those 5, only 1 person engaged with a "like"click. No one commented.

Everyone knew of Bonnie's love for this congregation and how loving she was of everyone here.

With the low engagement of her post, it's time for a poll.
