The People of the Lord, gathering together through the Spirit of unity with one accord. To worship and witness for the cause of the kingdom are known as One Accord Church & Ministries. To fulfill our mission we embrace the following:
We pledge our lives to Christ and covenant with each other to demonstrate His Spirit through worship, witnessing, by ministry to the needs of the people of this chur
ch and the community. One Accord is the result of prayer and praise in response to the command, commission of Christ. To effectively preach and teach the word of Lord in order to reach the people of Lord. We endeavor to create an atmosphere that causes unity in this the body of Christ. A fellowship dedicated to uniting the body of Christ .Our prayer is even as the Lord Jesus prayed to the Father John 17:22, "...that they may be one even as We are one". The first “One Accord Church is our example”. The one single thing that we should be is, “with One Accord” [singleness of mind]. Where the truths of scripture are what keeps us in harmony and operating in the fullness of the Spirit's power. We should be determined to be likeminded, with our hearts set as a flint, in the operation of the Holy Spirit. Remember in the 1st Century church, they were with one accord before the Holy Spirit came with fire and power. How much more should we be likeminded and in harmony when we have the indwelling of God’s Spirit? Shouldn’t we follow the example God set for us in the beginning? Have we become so caught up in a complacent state of mind that we continue to allow doctrines of men that keep us separated? Together we can accomplish anything! We need each other!
“And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”
One Accord Church & Ministries where we experience and express the GLORY of the Lord! Aggressively advancing the kingdom of heaven lives are changed, souls are saved, bodies healed and demons are cast out! Praise Him hard and lift Him high!
