Why would God want to use a person like you? The thought came from this:
We live in a world that judges by what you did yesterday. It teaches that your past determines your future, that your childhood defines your adulthood. We live in a world that keeps records of what you do wrong and always reminds us of our foolishness, shame and guilt of our past.

Even when told God forgives you the memories of your life still stay before you. BUT God wants you to know that he saw it all and because he is NOT like people he has a different kind of love. Agape love, the highest form. Not temporary but everlasting. Therefore true repentance can change you from the INSIDE out. Causing you to be usable to God. That love cleans your slate and gives you another chance to be a NEW person no matter what anybody says.
