There is a difference between what we know and what we experience. It’s up to us to seek God for the way to experience what we know.

Healing Bread Devotional 5/11/26 | In Christ—Access Denied

The enemy does not have access to us when we’re positioned in Christ because he does not have access to Christ. One step out of Love—God is Love, is a step into sin. There is no in-between God and sin. There is no sitting room in-between to decide which way you want to go, God or sin. (I John 4:16)

As long as I dwell—live in, hold my position in Christ, the enemy—curse of the law, has no access to me. (Psalm 91:1)

Curse of the law being; sickness, disease, grief, sorrow, poverty, the dominion of sin and the power of darkness. (Isaiah 53:4-5, II Corinthians 8:9, Romans 6:14 & 18, Colossians 1:13)

If I step out of love, my life and ministry becomes an open door for the enemy—the curse of the law from which I have been redeemed. (Ephesians 4:27)

The Israelites in the wilderness, with the exception of Joshua and Caleb, their hearts were hard against God for too long. He lifted his hand of protection from them and it was then the poisonous serpents could access them. God did not create the poisonous serpents, to attack His people. The serpents were already there. When God lifted His hand of protection, the poisonous serpents then had access to them. (Numbers 21:6)

In numbers 21:6 it says the Lord sent the fiery serpents. He did this, by lifting His hand of protection. He knew the serpents were out there. When He lifted his hand of protection that gave the serpents permission to access the people.

When we reject God that gives the enemy access to our lives.

John 5:14
Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.

Jesus healed the paralyzed man at the pool of Bethesda. And later saw him in the temple. Even though the man was in the temple, he was still sinning.

Sickness is attached to sin. Stay out of sin and you will stay out of sickness.

The blood of Jesus is our sign to the curse, ACCESS DENIED.

If I even feel the presence of the enemy against me, I am living too low—too close to the edge. If I feel him around me, I smile and say, “Access Denied.” If someone with sickness gets around me, I smile and say, “Access Denied.” I then continue to walk in my freedom.

In Christ or in a fallen world? Christians are in Christ and in Christ, the fallen world has no access. We are not in the world, we are in Christ on the earth. (John 16:33 AMPC)

Sickness has no access without sin. Sickness is attached to sin. Sickness does not stand alone. Sickness is not its own entity. Sickness has no sustenance without sin. Sin is the very life of sickness. Without sin, they’ll be no sickness.

Here is the scripture passage that trips Christians up regarding this subject.

James 5:15-16
15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

James says “. . .if he have committed sins. And then in verse 16 he points out the kind of sin he is talking about.

“Confess your faults one to another,” in other words, if you have a fault, hold something against someone, go work that out and then you will be healed.

It looks like James was operating by the Word of Knowledge. He pointed out the sin that would keep the sick one sick. He did not accuse the sick one, he said, “If you have fault . . .”

I John 4:17
Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

Jesus has no sin, therefore, He is not sick. We are not accessible to sickness any more than Jesus is. In Christ, we are as righteous as Jesus is. The fallen world can’t touch the righteousness of Jesus. (II Corinthians 5:21)

Have a great week everyone and remember that Jesus is coming soon!

God’s Timing

Do you need healing in your body, and, or mind? What does the Word of God say about that? Is it a matter of God’s timing for the sick?

Years ago, a pastor I know had some health issues. She invited a traveling minister to come and minister in her church. The traveling minister told her that it was not God’s time for her to be healed.

Because the Pastor didn’t know the Word of God she believed that lie and is sickly to this day.

I cannot find anywhere in the Bible where it says, “. . .by the stripes of Jesus, you are healed; unless, of course, it is not God’s timing. (I Peter 2:24)

I do not read in scripture anywhere where it says, “Jesus bore my sickness and took away my weaknesses in His timing.” (Matthew 8:17)

How about, God sent His word to heal us from all of our diseases and to deliver us from the pit of destruction, in His time. (Psalm 107:20)

When people can’t explain why God doesn’t immediately heal their loved one when they have prayed for them, they come up with their own ideas to explain why their loved one is still sick. In this case, they came up with the doctrine ‘it’s all in God’s timing.’

How about “. . .be it into you according to your faith. . .” as long as it's in God‘s timing. (Matthew 9:29)

Jesus didn’t tell anyone. . .sorry, you can’t be healed today; you are not on today’s schedule.

The latter part of Hosea 4:6 says, “. . .My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.”

I just turned 67 years old. No one has ever heard me make jokes about old age because I know the power of life and death are in our tongue. (Proverbs 18:21)

I Corinthians 3:21-22 (TLT)
21 So don’t be proud of following the wise men of this world. For God has already given you everything you need.
22 He has given you Paul and Apollos and Peter as your helpers. He has given you the whole world to use, and life and even death are your servants. He has given you all of the present and all of the future. All are yours,

This doesn’t say anything about the timing of God. God has a Calendar for sure, when Jesus is coming back, the battle of Armageddon and all of those things are a part of His timing. But, His timing has nothing to do with our faith; be it unto you, according to your faith. (Matthew 9:29)

We need to stick with the Word of God, and stay out from underneath the devil's euphoria. Sickness comes, but healing does not so you praise God for the sickness as though He gave it to you. It becomes a perverted romantic experience for you. You say, “I have never felt this close to God before the sickness came.” When you glorify sickness, you’ll have it until it kills you.

I have decided to manifest on earth who God really is and he is not sick! (John 17:6 TPT)

Ladies, when you’re baring yourself to the world, you are making yourself available to it. It is amazing to me how some Christian women dress very modestly on a regular basis, but then they’re invited to be a part of a wedding and the dress they wear is very revealing. They sport their open breasts with no shame.

How about prom night? When you let your daughter sport her open breasts, how can you be angry at the young, Christian man her date, who has lustful thoughts about her, and behaves inappropriately toward her?

Do you know that there are maid of honor, bridesmaids and prom dresses that are beautiful, fashionable and modest.

Just trying to help you here. If you bare your flesh for the world to see, you are bowing to their standard.

Several years ago I wrote a book called “The Sexy Church”. It's full of Apostle Paul’s teaching on how Christian women should dress, modestly.

If you want a copy, I’ll give it to you for free. I’ll even mail it to you postage free.

Over the years, the church has been in the religious ditch where a woman had to be covered from neck to ankle, to now in the immoral ditch, where a woman can sport any part of her body even inside the church, and nobody says a word. It’s time we get out of the ditch on this thing. It’s time that we get off the devils playground, and get in the middle of the road where we can be in the center of everything that God is doing.

Just loving on you with the truth here.

In Luke 17:11-19 we read about ten lepers who stood afar off and shouted to Jesus, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.”

He said, “Go show yourselves to the priest.” And as they went, they were cleansed. But one of those lepers, when he saw that he was cleansed, he turned and ran back to Jesus and fell before him and gave Him thanks.

He worshiped Jesus with a grateful heart and was made whole. A heart of gratitude is what made him whole. The nine lepers ran off with their miracle, but the one that turned back and worshiped Jesus with thanksgiving was made whole—all the damage done and missing parts were restored back to him as though he never had leprosy.

Jesus said that his faith made him whole. A heart of gratitude expressed is an action of faith. It’s a life of wholeness.
