Good Morning Friends!!!

I am super happy to tell you that tomorrow is LAKE NIGHT! That most hallowed night of the summer, the final youth group of the summer! If you are free, please consider joining us for reconnecting with the students, free food, and beach living! It shall be a glorious evening.

Now I know there is the supposed "threat" of rain, but according to darksky.net there is a 0% chance of rain!

If for whatever dumb reason it does look like it will rain (it won't) we will relocate to the church. so yeah.

The menu is as follows,

Pulled Pork
Brats
Lemonade
Water
Whatever the students bring.

If you so felt led to bring a healthy side that would be most welcome I am sure.

Schedule for the evening

6:00pm - Gather at Doctor's Park
6:15pm - Eat at Doctor's Park
7:00pm - Swim at Doctor's Park
8:00pm - Worship at Doctor's Park

Also the event is at Doctor's Park, fyi.

I hope that you can join us, I miss you and so do the students!

Further, we are looking forward to the Leader's Retreat in about 10ish days. Friday August 23-Sunday 25, this retreat is as mandatory as I can make it for volunteers. Obviously, if you aren't able to make it please let me know, a few of you have already contacted me about that. Watch for a follow-up email this week so we can plan an alternate time to get together. If you can come and haven't let us know, you are welcome to still attend you have up until 8/20 to let me know for sure. It is going to be a wonderful time of fun, growing together, and praying for the ministry year. We get to act the way we want to act on retreats if we weren't responsible for students 😂!

Also our first Wednesday Night of the year is September 11, 2019. And our first official Sunday school of the year is September 8, 2019! Mark your calendars!!!

Hey fam! It is supposed to rain tonight , so sadly no lake night 😭

But never fear !! We are going to have student night at eastbrook church tonight starting at six ! We will be providing burgers and brats and if your last name is a-k you are bringing a side dish, if your last name starts with l-s you are bringing dessert and if your last name starts with t-z you are going to bring a beverage !! Starts at six:) gym will be open as well !! See you guys tonight ! Movie will start at 6:30! See y’all there invite your friends!
