Good Fb family and friends,
Self reflection is an important part of our growth process.
I pray that you will take the time to self reflect as we close out the year and prepare for a new year.
As I rise up this morning and self reflect I can honestly say "that I never would have thought 35 years ago I would be where I am today...
Pastoring " who me.. oh no .
I walked through the church door broken, confused, and
Trying to find myself.
I knew that there was something different about my life, or should I say something better for me that I had not discovered,
never in a million years would I have thought God was training me to be a Pastor.
Over the years as I was in training..
I miss spoken, I passed some test and I failed some test .. I underestimated the authority that God had given me,
I thought it was about me . As I look back I can see that it never was about me!
It was more for me, it was for the women coming after me , the mother, the sister, the cousin, daughter,
It was for the army that was coming after me, it was for my legacy, it was for the nation, it was for my brothers and sisters,
It was for my community, it was for those that felt broken and unrepairable,
it was for those that was wounded and left for dead, it was for those struggling with addiction, it was for those misused, abused and mistreated, it was for the little girl in me trying to be a women,
it was for those quick tempered, stiff neck and hard headed, It was for those uncertain with life and life choices,
It was for those that loved began measured,
It was for that wanted to see a change,
It was for those that cried in the silence,
It was for those that would give over and over,
it was for anyone the might look upon me and see the glory of God that lives in me ..
It was for me to use my voice and to tell my story .... To live to tell his story🙏🏾
That the God of the most high could get all the glory!!!
I'm so glad that God never gave up on me !
All praises to the father !
Glory to God for his grace!! 🙏🏾
