Hope friends and family, this week we covet your prayers and need your help.

**OUR FRIENDS AT THE WAY NEED US.** The Way church has received extensive electrical service damage, and they don't yet know how long it will be until power is restored. 💙

So this Sunday, we're coming together!

Hope and The Way will worship together in one combined service. Wherever you call home, you are welcome here exactly as you are.

Today was a beautiful reminder of who we are. So proud of Hope for doing what Hope does: feeding and praying for people. We gave away about 150 meals, prayed with 5 to 10 people, and shared the gospel.

One moment says it all. Vivian and Jenny Bettis delivered hot meals to some linemen from Louisiana. At first, they wouldn't open their window, then hesitantly rolled it down. Vivian asked if they wanted food, and one lineman asked, "How much does it cost?" Vivian smiled and said it's free, we just want to say thank you. He was shocked and replied, "Wow. There are still good people in this world."

That's what Hope does best. Thank you, Vivian and Jenny, and thank you to everyone who served!

We'll also be doing a property cleanup later this week. Details to follow!

BRACE (Be Ready Alliance Coordinating for Emergencies) is working with national disaster relief organizations, local community partners, and our Long-Term Recovery Groups to connect Escambia and Santa Rosa County residents with the help they need.

Through Crisis Cleanup, you can be connected with volunteer organizations that may be able to assist with:

• Roof tarping
• Tree removal
• Debris cleanup
• Mucking out flooded homes
• Other storm cleanup needs

Hope friends and family,

We are so grateful for God's presence in the midst of the very powerful Hurricane Isaias. 🙏

Over these last hours we have heard from, spoken with, or visited so many of our Hope family, and every conversation has reminded us that we are not walking through this storm alone.

"God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble." Psalm 46:1

Let's come together tomorrow to pray and give thanks!

🙏 An important update for our Hope Church family and the Milton community:

In response to the approaching hurricane, the Milton Chief of Police has canceled all public activities for Saturday. Out of care for our community, our Pancakes and Hope Outreach event has also been postponed.

We will update everyone on our Sunday worship service as soon as possible.

Your safety is our priority. Please take this time to prepare, stay indoors, and look after one another.

Following landfall, we will post updates here regarding disaster relief efforts and how Hope Church will be serving our community in the days ahead.

Until then — please be safe, hold your loved ones close, and know that we are praying for every single one of you. 💙
