Thank you, thank you for coming to celebrate with us tonight. There will be more pictures in a post at a later time, but we realized after our program that one of our clubbers earned his book award and we missed it. So please join me in congratulating Matthew on his Alpha Award for T&T. He was such a great sport about it being missed!

OOPS....I almost missed one. Meet the Staff
(from left to right)
Mr. Corbin is one of T&T leaders who helps immensely by being flexible and floating back and forth between the red and green groups. A former Awana clubber here, we are so thankful he was eager to join us as a leader! Corbin is a student at Blackhawk Technical College and also works as an apprentice at The Morse Company. You will also see him around Camp Wakonda this summer as he leads our camp program team! He is one busy guy and always willing help with a smile on his face.

Ms. Tara is one of our T&T red group leaders. She has had 4 of her own children go through our Awana club and takes great care of our 5th and 6th grade clubbers here on Wed. nights. She can also be found at Camp Wakonda in the summer time working as a camp medic. During the day time she works as a 4K paraprofessional at Harmony Elementary school. So she has experience with little ones, too. She and her husband, Tom, have 4 active girls at home.

Mr. Ryan is our other T&T red group leader. This year he was also one of our key Grand Prix race officials! Outside of Awana, he uses his talents as an engineer where he has literally traveled the world. He has served as an alderperson for the City of Milton and is very active in Civil War re-enacting. Mr. Ryan is one of the leaders for the Living History Civil War days held in North Goodrich Park in May. Mr. Ryan is married to Sparks leader, Ms. Kathleen and they have 4 growing children!

Meet the Staff - Last one, but certainly not least!!💗
Mr. Brandon and Ms. Kathy are a husband and wife team that have been working in our Sparks club for many years. They recently took a step back on Wed. nights and are helping us out as substitutes in Cubbies and Sparks when we need some extra hands .

Mr. Brandon is Pastor Nate's dad. He is a retire chiropractor and spends his retirement serving God in many ways. He has a beautiful singing voice and uses it to praise God by leading and singing in choirs and smaller groups like quartets and solos. He also spends hours at Camp Wakonda taking care of the grounds and facilities, as well as the church grounds, too.

Ms. Kathy is a retired teacher who worked many years in the Janesville school district. She continues to work with the students in Janesville as a well-loved substitute teacher. She is also very involved in serving God through her work at Rock Prairie Presbyterian Church. We are blessed to have had both Mr. Brandon and Ms. Kathy as dedicated volunteers for many years!

Meet the Staff
Ms. Michelle returned to Awana this year by giving our clubbers and their families a warm welcome each week at the door. As part of keeping everyone safe, Ms. Michelle met our kids and their families at the door for the first part of the year. She had some foot surgery, needed to recover and then helped us out again at the door to end out our year!

During the daytime, Ms. Michelle works for Mercy Health in the billing department. She is married to Pastor Nate and supports him in his ministry, too! They have 3 children, who have been Awana clubbers. She is also looking forward to being a grandma for the first time later this year!

Have you heard that it's Mission Month at Awana? We're working to end our club year by helping some children in another part of the world have the chance to go to school! Pastor Fred and his wife Judy are opening the Blessed Nursery School for vulnerable children in their community. When we raise $700, we can provide the tables, chairs, bookshelf and chalkboard they need in their classroom. Not only will these children learn academics, they will also get to learn about Jesus at school, too! All donations - big or small - are welcome. We trust God to take what we give and do big things with our gifts. Tell your family and friends. Share this post! It will take everyone working together in our village to help theirs.

Having a hard time believing there are only 3 weeks of regular club nights left this year! While we are busy finishing up our handbooks, Blessed Nursery School in Malawi, Africa needs our help to welcome some special children to school this fall. Our clubbers are feeding Murray each week in April to provide the needed furnishings. Pastor Fred and his wife Judy will be reaching vulnerable children with the good news of Jesus and valuable education.
