If you weren't able to make it to worship today, fear not! We have a summary here:

Pastor Jessica Ndalamba Kayembe talked about the importance of reconciliation. No matter what someone has done to us, it is our job to fix it together. God calls us to forgive those who trespass against us. Forgiveness is free; and think about how many times He forgives us!

We had communion today where JoAnne Miller Cyrus helped serve.

And Melody played beautifully on the piano as always.

We hope you have a wonderful, blessed week and remember that God calls us to forgive.

Sharing this for our Ona VFD friends…

We know this is a couple months away, but we definitely want to invite and share. Last year was so successful that we are working to increase the “trunks” and attendance.
If you would like to host a trunk and hand out candy, please message our page so we can get you on the list and confirm the area necessary for all participants.

We will have hotdogs, chips, drinks, and hot chocolate, free to all!

We will also be sending fliers home during our fire prevention festivities in October.

Please join us for a FREE safe trunk or treat event on October 28th from 6-7:30pm! We will have a host of fire trucks and other first responder vehicles set up around the fire department for kids to trick or treat at! Station tours and other fun activities will be available and FREE to the public!

It's a special month when we have 5 Sundays, so we must do something special! We hope you will join us and our friends from Bethesda UMC tomorrow for our 5th Sunday Brunch at 10:00 a.m. followed by worship and fellowship.

ECCHO volunteers have been very busy this summer serving 362 families in June and 379 families in July! Your donations of canned fruits and vegetables, breakfast cereal, mac n cheese, spaghetti, canned pasta, soup and especially JELLY are always needed!

They are grateful for all of the school supplies donated to assist with back to school efforts for these families as well.

Did you know that ECCHO also helps these children with shoes and clothing too?

All of your donations are so very much appreciated!
