Release the Worry

Scripture:
“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.” — Matthew 6:34

Worry has a way of making us carry tomorrow’s problems with today’s strength. We replay situations we cannot change, anticipate problems that have not happened, and try to figure out things that only God can work out.

But God never asked us to carry tomorrow today.

When worry begins to rise, turn your worry into prayer. Instead of rehearsing the problem in your mind, release it into God’s hands. Prayer reminds us that what is beyond our control is never beyond God’s control.

The Lord is saying, “Give it to Me. Trust Me with what you cannot see, cannot fix, and cannot control.”

Worry says, “What if?”
Faith says, “Even if, God is still with me.”

You have enough grace for today. When tomorrow comes, God will already be there with new mercy, new strength, and new grace.

Prayer

Lord, help me stop carrying things You never asked me to carry. When worry enters my mind, teach me to release it through prayer. Give me faith to trust You with tomorrow while I faithfully walk through today. I believe You hear me, You are with me, and You are working even when I cannot see it. Amen.

Don’t let tomorrow steal the peace God has given you for today.
