🌮 Children’s Ministry Volunteers,
ICYMI…Let’s Lunch!!! 🌮

I just want to say a HUGE thank you for the love, patience, and joy you bring to our children throughout the year. You are such a gift to this ministry, and I am so grateful for the way you serve so faithfully!

To celebrate you and spend some time together, I would love to invite you (and your family!) to a Children’s Ministry Volunteer Lunch on Sunday, March 1st, right after church. This will be a relaxed and encouraging time to enjoy fellowship, be encouraged, and receive instruction and vision as we continue partnering in ministry.

• Can friends stay together? Yes, friends CAN stay together! The earlier you RSVP the easier it is to make sure the girls can stay together!

• Will there be translators for Spanish speakers? YES! There will be an entire group for all Spanish speaking girls along with a devotion in Spanish!

• Will my child fall asleep on the way home? It’s a toss up between crashing in the backseat or talking your ear off all night about how much fun she had!!

🚨Final Call🚨
We will not be participating in the parade this evening. Unfortunately the weather is not looking like it will be the best for our children. We always aim for our children’s activities to be fun while we are sharing Jesus with the world around us. Cold kiddos, wet float, and damp air doesn’t feel like a recipe for the best time.
We are already on the list and set up for next year, so {SILVER LINING} we now have a year to collect even more throws🤷‍♀️!
Stay warm tonight and we can’t wait to see you all tomorrow morning for Connection Groups and Service.

Good evening!!! After much discussion a decision has been made that we will not be participating in the parade unless the coordinator decides to move it to next weekend. It is still a possibility but the parade coordinator does not seem to be leaning in that direction. The rain and temperature is a combination of miserable that our kids are not going to enjoy. Her view is that the rain is supposed to stop at 6:00 which is when the parade is supposed to start. But we need everyone there before that to get them on the float and settled in before that and it will be cold and wet. So if she does postpone to next weekend, we will still participate, but if not we are sitting this year out😔. So cross your finger that she moves it and I will update y’all tomorrow for sure.

Kids@First is kicking off the Christmas season with a trip to the Tolbert's home this Wednesday, December 3rd, 2025! ❄️✝🎁

The bus & vans will be parked in front of the Children's Building. Children will load directly onto the bus or vans. Transportation will leave promptly at 6pm.

Please ensure your child wears appropriate clothes to walk outside.

The bus & van will return to FBCM at 7pm in front of the Children's Building. If you are waiting outside when the bus and vans return, you can pick them up from there. If the children are already inside the Children's Building, you can get them from inside.

Nursery care to 3 year old class will remain in the Children's Building as normal.

🚨ATTENTION, ATTENTION🚨
It is time to start getting ready for the Milton Christmas Parade!!
The Parade is December 6th and the theme this year is a Griswold Christmas. If you have little stuffies, candy, or beads that you are wanting or willing to donate for our Kids @ First float, please drop them off at the children’s building. If you think we will have too much…don’t worry we won’t, we will take it!! We will be collecting these items until Wednesday December 3rd. We are also in need of Christmas lights for the float (these will be returned to you).

💥Missions Outreach Spotlight!💥

FBCM Kids had a blast last night packing treat bags for the faculty and staff at T. R. Jackson. The kids packed 70 bags and spent time in prayer for the teachers, students, and their families.

We love to encourage Milton's educators. Join us in praying for T.R. Jackson this week!
