MDWK RECAP 🙌🔥

Last night we talked about an incredible truth: If you belong to Jesus, you don’t have to live the Christian life on your own. God gives you His Spirit—and His Spirit lives in you.

📖 SCRIPTURE:
John 14:15–17
1 Corinthians 3:16
1 Corinthians 6:19
2 Corinthians 3:17–18

MAIN POINTS 👇

1️⃣ Another Helper!
Jesus promised His followers the Holy Spirit—the Helper who is with us, guides us, comforts us, and leads us in truth.

2️⃣ Temples for God’s Spirit
The Holy Spirit doesn’t just meet us at church—He dwells in those who belong to Jesus. That means our faith goes with us into our schools, teams, friendships, group chats, and everyday decisions.

3️⃣ Set Free & Transformed
The Holy Spirit doesn’t just make us feel something—He changes something. He sets us free from sin and transforms us to look more and more like Jesus.

🎯 MARK OF A DISCIPLE:
Disciples of Christ acknowledge God for who He is and what He’s done. — Proverbs 3:5–6

🔎 DIG DEEPER THIS WEEK:
Read John 14:15–17 every day before you start scrolling. Then pray:

“Holy Spirit, lead me today.”

Ask Him to guide your words, choices, relationships, and thoughts—and then obey what God shows you through His Word.

ASK Him to lead you.
LISTEN to His Word.
OBEY what He shows you.

The Holy Spirit isn’t calling you to become a better version of yourself. He’s pointing you to Jesus, who makes you new. 🙌

What an AMAZING night at Sunday Night Fellowship! 🙌

A huge THANK YOU to the Davidsons for opening their home and hosting our students! We’re so grateful for your hospitality and the way you love and serve our student ministry.

Thank you, Madilyn Hall, for sharing with us and encouraging our students! And what a special night of celebrating together—laughing, fellowshipping, and making memories. ❤️

We’re so thankful for nights like this where students can grow closer to one another and, most importantly, closer to Jesus!

What a night! 🔥

MDWK RECAP 🙌 | God Knows Best

Sometimes we want God to give us the whole map… but Jesus simply says, “Follow Me.” 👣

This Wednesday we were reminded that God sees what we don’t see, knows what we don’t know, and knows what’s best.

📖 Scripture: John 21:15–22
💡 Big Idea: God knows what’s best, so I can trust Him, follow Him, and stop comparing my life to everyone else’s.

THE MAIN POINTS 👇

1️⃣ Jesus restores the repentant believer
Peter had failed Jesus, but Jesus came looking for him, restored him, and reminded him that he still had a purpose.

2️⃣ Jesus has purpose for your life
You don’t have to know the whole plan to obey the next step. God can use you right now.

3️⃣ Don’t worry about God’s plan for someone else
Comparison makes you look sideways when Jesus is telling you to look forward. Your calling may look different from someone else’s—and that’s okay.

✝️ MARK OF A DISCIPLE:
Disciples of Christ follow God’s calling for their lives.
📖 Proverbs 3:5–6

🔎 DIG DEEPER THIS WEEK:
Before you go to bed, spend 5 minutes alone with God and ask:
“God, is there anything in my life I need to repent of, and what is the next step You want me to take?”

Don’t worry about having the whole map.
Don’t worry about somebody else’s journey.
Don’t worry about what everyone else is doing.

God knows what’s best. You follow Him. 👣
