This coming Saturday August 12, 2017 we are going to have two AIM/ Awana Basics. The first will be at:

The start time is 10am

The second AIM (Awana Info Meeting) is this coming Saturday at:

Hi All,

This is a reminder about the first in person AIM (Awana Information Meeting) and Awana Basics. This will take place this Saturday at 10am and last until about 2pm at:

Cornerstone Gospel Church
25 Sebago Road (Route 114)
Naples, ME 04055

This church is located about 9 miles on the left past Sebago Elementary on the left on Route 114. If coming from Route 302, it is about 500ft down on the right from the causeway in Naples.

Awana Basics is all new this year and if you have leaders who have never been through it or are in need of a refresher, this is the perfect opportunity for that.

You will also learn about upcoming updates to the new Evidence of Grace handbook in T&T, changes that will be made in the Grace in Action from your input, and other information as well.

Please comment below if you have any from your church that are planning on attending so that we make sure to have enough food and beverages. We look forward to seeing everybody there.

I want to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers. I am waiting to hear about the car and I was told it may be sometime next week before I know what is going on. I do have multiple tears in my back and I feel like I went 13 rounds with a prize fighter. Healing will take some time before I am 100%, but still pressing on!

UPDATE ON ANDY

I heard from him this afternoon not long ago. He has seen a doctor and is on meds for the pain. He has a rental car and his car may be in worse shape than first thought and could be a couple of weeks before he knows the extent of the damage. Because Andy has been down this road before with his body and auto accidents, he has been told to stay quiet for the next couple of days. The meds will make him sleep and allow him to relax so the swelling will go down. But he has many muscle tears throughout that will take time to heal.

Hi Everybody,

Our Awana Missionary, Andy, is in need of prayer tonight and in the near future. Tonight on his way out of Massachusetts on Interstate 495 just 27 miles from Route 16 in a construction zone he was rear ended by a girl while he was at a dead stop. She hit him so hard that she pushed him a good 10ft forward striking the vehicle in front of him. His vehicle has minor front end damage and major rear end damage. He is estimating the damage to his vehicle at about $4000 for what he can see. He was driving his little black car. Where this happened was also witnessed by a MA State Trooper. The girl driving the other car that caused the accident was on her cellphone not paying attention to traffic in front of her. There is concern for how much pain Andy will be in tomorrow, Friday.

As many of you are aware, for the past couple of years I have made trips to Louisiana to the Angola Prison. I am looking to put together a team of Pastors, Commanders, & Leaders who would like to join me on this trip next year.

I would ask that you keep this in your prayers as to if you would join me on this trip.

Hi All,
During the month of August, we have some Awana Information Meetings setup. These are set up for Pastors, Commanders, Leaders, Helpers, and anybody wanting more information about Awana for new information that is coming out this coming year.

This year there is a new Basic Training Manual out and this information will be covered at Cornerstone Gospel and Emmanuel Baptist as well as updates to the next T&T curriculum in handbook as well as modifications from last years handbook. You will also learn about changes coming to the Sparks handbooks too.

Hi All,

We are asking that you all be in prayer for Andy and Jen as they hit the road visiting churches in our recently expanded territory. They now have to raise an additional $1000 a month and this money is used mainly for travel expenses and supplies.

If there is something you can do on a one time basis or maybe you are able to assist on a full-time monthly support basis, please contact Andy and let him know.
