We had a FANTASTIC turnout at our annual Easter Egg hunt this year! It looked like close to 70! Hope everyone had a wonderful time! Happy Easter! (also a big special thank you to everyone who showed up or provided for to make it happen!!!)

On Good Friday, Christ became death so we could enter life. He entered hell to bring his kingdom into hell and the grave, that all could become holy once again as it was in the beginning. King of heaven. King of earth. King of hell. Christ became lord of all and his kingdom continues to come until it reaches total fulfillment in Revelation 19. The painting depicts what's called The Harrowing of Hell (Jesus entering Death to bring souls up from the grave with his gospel message since they died before he'd come). It's a beautiful image that isn't emphasized enough in protestant churches.
