We are pleased to share that on February 26th, a delegation of JAINA leaders had the honor of meeting Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his residence in New Delhi for over 40 minutes. This significant meeting provided an opportunity to present JAINAโs unique organizational virtues, achievements, and global outreach while also emphasizing the contributions of the Jain community.
During the discussion, the delegation highlighted the impact of the Jain diaspora worldwide, particularly in North America, and its role in promoting Jain values and culture. They also discussed how the Jain diaspora actively engages in fostering US-India trade relations by driving entrepreneurship, facilitating investments, and strengthening economic partnerships. The delegation emphasized the significant contributions of Jain business leaders and professionals in enhancing bilateral trade, innovation, and cultural exchange, ultimately helping to build a stronger relationship between the two nations.
The delegation consisted of JAINA President Bindesh Shah, First Vice President Atul Shah, and Chairperson of Government and Public Affairs Sharad N. Doshi.
