Good evening folks. Being we didn't have church this morning, the council has asked me to post the proposal to allow the council to raise the limit they can spend without congregation approval from $2500 to $10000 due to the rising costs of construction costs, labor, and goods in general. This will be voted on at the annual meeting next Sunday, January 25th. Blessings. Rick

Good evening folks. I was informed by Kathy Marquette that evidently someone mistakenly took Kyle's coat at Orvin's funeral. It's a Harvest Works JD jacket from Moline, IL. It has much sentimental value and they sure would like it back. If anyone has mistakenly grabbed this coat by accident would you let me know? Blessings, Rick

Good morning friends in Christ. I am saddened to announce that Orvin Hogness has left his earthly body for his new heavenly body, where he has taken up residence with Jesus Christ forever and ever. Good evening friends. This Sunday at church, we will be putting out a special offering plate for Ty, Julie, and Weston Gregor. Weston had a Berlin pump procedure recently to bridge the gap between now and his eventual heart transplant and so far so good. Weston needs a new heart. Ty and Julie have been staying full time in Minneapolis where Weston is receiving care at the U of M hospital. If you can afford to, please bring your donation this Sunday to help a beautiful child in need. May God bless you all!

Hi all--i am saddened to announce that Janis Claus passed away yesterday at Lisbon Hospital. She has received her promised eternal salvation. Her funeral will be this Friday at MLC at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Lunch will follow the funeral and then burial will take place at Whitestone Cemetery after lunch. Please lift the Claus family up in prayer.
