Are there particular scripture verses you recall in moments of anxiety or distress?

Psalm 71 may be one of those passages:
"In you, O LORD, I take refuge; let me never be put to shame.
In your righteousness deliver me and rescue me; incline your ear to me and save me.
Be to me a rock of refuge, a strong fortress to save me, for you are my rock and my fortress."

The Psalms offer us reminders of both God's good works, care, and power. May they bring you some reassurance when needed.

It started as any other ordinary night .... Yet He would make it extraordinary.

Imagine the scene 2000 years ago. It was the night of nights, and yet it had begun as every other night had before it. But it was to become the greatest, most significant night of history. This was the night that would conquer darkness and bring in the day when there would be no more night. This was the night when those who sat in darkness would see a great light. This was the night God brought into the world the One who is "the light of the world." May His light shine in your life this Christmas season. --Billy Graham
