Final reminder, the next STJ Student Led Masses will be Father's Day Weekend, June 20th 4pm and June 21st 10am. Nothing is better than seeing our weekend masses attended and run by our STJ students practicing their faith! Thank you to the families who have already said they could participate or responded they were unable that weekend. Anyone who has not yet reached out and their child wants to be a part of one of the masses please let Joe Wagner know at [email protected]. Remember, we will also work with the 175th Anniversary Committee running their bake sale donation fundraiser after each mass!

If unable to participate in the June masses, the July weekend will be Saturday July 11th 4pm and Sunday July 12th 10am. I will send out church spots and get readings to all the lectors later this week! STJ Proud!

If your little one is ready for a warm, safe, and joyful introduction to learning, we would love to welcome them into our St. James family. Our Trojan Tots program focuses on helping toddlers grow through:

STJ families! Get a head start on your volunteer hours while getting to help support the BEST Fire Department around! The Millstadt Fire Department picnic team has teamed up with St James to bring back the ever popular poker booth with a generous portion of the proceeds raised going directly to our school! The picnic is Friday June 11th and Saturday June 12th from 4p-12a both nights. We created a sign up genius and are needing at least 3 adults per 2 hour shift to help make the most of this awesome fundraising opportunity! A big showing of community support from our school family in STJ gear helps show the strength of our school family! Please sign up if you can set aside a couple hours while enjoying the music and rides! If you have any questions please reach out to SAC Vice President Joe Wagner who is liaison for us and the fire department for this event! STJ strong!

Attention parents!!! Summer vacation is in full force and we know soon you’ll want the kids out and about! The STJ cross-country coaches are organizing an informal summer running club. This club is not just for cross-country or track runners. This is for all kids grade 3 and up who would like to get some additional exercise and conditioning during the summer. It is also a good way to see if any of the kids would be interested in joining the cross country team. These will be at Foley Park (Douglas Road), 8a.m.-9a.m., on June 17th, 22nd, and 24th. More dates will be added as the summer goes along. The kids do not have to commit to all or any of the dates, if you can make it you’re welcome to join.
