🎉 Yesterday we celebrated an incredible year of Sunday School at Grace!
We honored our faithful teachers, recognized students moving up to new classes this fall, and celebrated our high school and college graduates. We are thankful for each person who is growing in faith and look forward to all God has in store in the coming year.

Today, several Grace members took on the Murph Challenge in remembrance of those who paid the ultimate price for our freedom. 🇺🇸
As we pushed through every mile, rep, and moment together, we remembered the sacrifice of so many brave men and women who laid down their lives for others.

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor those who gave their lives in service to our country.

We are grateful for their sacrifice and the freedom we share because of it. As a church family, we also hold in prayer the families and loved ones who carry their memory each day.

Grace Church will be praying this weekend for peace, comfort, and gratitude to fill our hearts as we remember.

A fun Sunday at Grace as the kids in Mr. Bill’s Sunday School class sang the Books of the Bible to the congregation! 📖🎶 We loved seeing their excitement and all they’ve learned throughout the year. So proud of these kids and grateful for the leaders who invest in them each week!

Seeking a Director of Children and Youth Ministries

Grace United Methodist Church, Millsboro, DE, is seeking a full-time director of children and youth ministries. The director will oversee Sunday School programs and VBS for children up through 5th grade. Additionally, the director will plan and lead weekly gatherings, Sunday School, small groups, retreats, and special activities including service and mission projects for youth in grades 6 through 12. The director should have a passion for the spiritual welfare of children and youth and demonstrate commitment and care for youth beyond structured church settings. Full benefits. Schedule will vary. Ideal candidate will have education or background in children and youth ministry.

We’re celebrating some amazing students from Grace! 🎉
Congratulations to 7th graders Zachary and Kaylei on being inducted into the Sussex Central Middle School chapter of National Junior Honor Society—what an incredible accomplishment!
And a special shoutout to our 8th graders Emme and Temi for their leadership—Emme serving as President and Temi as Secretary. We are so proud of the way you’re using your gifts!

What a beautiful weekend at Grace’s Soul Care Women’s Retreat. 💛
Our cups were truly filled as we stepped away from the busyness of life and leaned into God’s presence together. Through meaningful time in the Word, worship, and community, we were reminded of the importance of caring for our souls—and given practical ways to carry that into our everyday lives.
Grateful for every moment, every conversation, and every heart that showed up expectant. ✨
