What does it really mean to be saved?

This Sunday, Pastor Jeremy walked us through the journey of salvation from recognizing our sin and our need for rescue, to experiencing God’s love, forgiveness, and the righteousness we receive through Jesus. But salvation isn’t where the journey ends. Salvation is a lifelong journey of becoming more like Jesus.

The Bible doesn’t need to be edited to fit our preferences. We’re called to believe it, live it, and preach it. ALL of it.

Yesterday, Pastor Danny took us through the book of Jude and challenged us to hold firmly to the truth of God’s Word. Not just the parts that are easy or comfortable, but the entire Bible for what it says.

It’s a powerful reminder that we don’t get to pick and choose which parts of Scripture we believe. We trust God’s Word because it is His Word.

Some weekends are just hard to put into words.

Fellowship. Rock the Beach. Sunday mornings. So many moments we wish we could bottle up and keep.
