🎉 THANK YOU!! 🎉

We are so very grateful for the generosity of our church family! This was the church office after our Amazon delivery this morning! We had over 200 items purchased from the Amazon gift list yesterday!

We still need more items though!! So, if you haven’t had a chance to shop yet (or want to pick a few more items), we have extended the deadline to this Sunday, December 7th. Use the link in our previous post or on the church website to shop the Amazon list to see the items that still need to be purchased to make Christmas Store a success for these families!

We have extended the deadline to purchase items for the Christmas Store to NEXT Sunday, December 7th!

You can contribute in one of 3 ways:

1. Click the link below to shop the Amazon list and have items shipped directly to the church.

2. Grab an ornament with a specific item from the trees in the front lobby and bring it to the church by next Sunday, December 7th.

3. Give a monetary donation to be used to purchase any remaining items needed. You can bring a cash or check to the church office labeled for the Christmas Store.

Help bless Christmas Store families!

We need your help as we prepare for the opportunity to bless over 80 families through our Christmas Store ministry in just a few short weeks! This is the final week to purchase items, as items need to be purchased by this Sunday, November 30th to ensure that they are received in time

Shopping is simple! By purchasing items through the Amazon list, you can have the items shipped directly to the church! You can view items that still need to be purchased by clicking the link below!

If you haven’t had a chance yet to purchase something, this is a simple and impactful way to meet the needs and show the love of Christ to those in our community. Every purchase makes a difference in the lives of these families, as we prepare to host them on December 15th and 16th!

We are celebrating incredible news from our Millington FBC missions team serving in Guatemala. So far, eight people have given their lives to Christ through the medical clinic and food bag distribution. God is truly at work.

One powerful story stands out. Last year, Bobby Washington shared his testimony of redemption with the son of an elderly lady whose home their group visited. The man was resistant to the Gospel and trapped in a cycle of alcoholism, unwilling to receive the freedom that only the Lord can give.

This morning, without realizing their path would lead them back to that same home, Bobby and his group made several visits, and on their third stop they found themselves once again at the door of that same family. As they talked with the mother, her son came home. The Gospel was shared once more, and this time his heart was ready. He repented of his sins and was saved.

This morning was a tremendous moment for the team and for the local church in Guatemala. This was just one of many testimonies we have received word of so far. Yet, there are still a few days of work left for the team. For those who have been praying, thank you. God has been answering those prayers. Please join us in asking God to continue to move through our team as they serve faithfully in Guatemala!

Our Guatemala mission team has safely landed in Miami and will soon be boarding their flight to Guatemala City. Please be praying for safe travels and for God to work in powerful ways as they hit the ground running. The team will be hosting a medical clinic, leading VBS days at a local school, and passing out food bags to families in need. Pray that every moment would be filled with opportunities to share the Gospel and that many would come to know Jesus as their Savior.

Our team will finish off the ministry side of their trip today by leading worship and Hayden preaching for a service held at the Fred Jordan Center in Skid Row. They spent the morning passing out invations and inviting people to lunch and worship. Please be praying for the team today!

Join us as we continue praying for our Missions Team in Los Angeles. They have led worship, participated in the first Hispanic service with a local church, helped with construction projects, prepared and served meals, and assembled and prayed over women’s hygiene bags for the homeless. Pray that they continue to boldly share the gospel with everyone they meet, and that this trip would ignite a lasting passion for missions in their hearts and in yours as well. This past Tuesday night our college ministry and other pastors prayed over the group of adults and college students heading out to the West Coast, this evening they are flying out. Please join us in praying for our Mission Team as they travel to Los Angeles, California. They will be partnering with Send Relief LA to serve the surrounding communities by caring for the large refugee population, protecting children and families, and fighting against human trafficking and homelessness. Pray for their safety, strength, and that they will be a light and hope to those they encounter. First Baptist Church - Millington, TN

Please continue to pray for our mission team serving in the Gulf Breeze and Pensacola area. Yesterday, they had some meaningful conversations that led to a few families joining Redemption Church’s life group last night. Pray for the next few days — that more gospel-centered conversations will take place and that there will be open doors to share the love of Christ in the community.

As you pray for the team this week, we challenge you to also pray about joining in on one of the next First Baptist Church - Millington, TN 2025 trips.
