Today marks 25 years since September 11, 2001.
We pause to remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost, the families whose lives were forever changed, and the first responders, service members, and ordinary citizens who showed extraordinary courage in the face of tragedy.

Twenty-five years later, we still remember the grief of that day, but we also remember the compassion, unity, sacrifice, and love shown in the days that followed.

As a church, we pray for those who continue to carry the weight of loss. We give thanks for those who serve and protect our communities and our nation. And we ask God to help us be people who bring His peace, hope, and love into a world that desperately needs them.

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”�Psalm 46:1

Today, we pause to thank God for the gift of work, the strength to serve, and the opportunity to use our hands for His glory. Whether our work is seen or unseen, may we remember that every task can become an act of worship when it is offered faithfully to the Lord.

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord…” — Colossians 3:23

This Labor Day, may God bless the work of our hands, give rest to the weary, and remind us that our greatest purpose is found in serving Him and one another.
