What happens when a church decides that Sunday isn’t just a day to attend church, but a day to be the church?

You get A DAY FOR GOOD!

We got done. Got our hands dirty. There was plenty of laughter.
People were loved. Our community was served. And, most importantly, Jesus was at the center of it all.

Because sometimes sharing the love of Jesus looks like a sermon or a song, and sometimes it looks like showing up, rolling up your sleeves, and saying, “How can we help?”

We believe faith should move our feet. We believe the Church should make its community better simply because it’s there. And we believe that when ordinary people offer what they have to God, He can use it to make an extraordinary difference.

To every person who served, gave, worked, organized, sweated, encouraged, prayed, and helped make A Day for Good happen, THANK YOU!

This is who Well House is. Not a church that simply gathers, but a church that GOES. Because when God’s people do good, the world gets a glimpse of a great God.

We’re excited to highlight Jason and Tonya Lewis Billingsley, who have been part of the Well House family since the very beginning, attending that very first gathering in Gary and Melissa O’Brien’s home. Today, they faithfully serve on both our Shepherding Team and Set-Up Team, helping care for our church family both behind the scenes and in relationships.

One memory they both treasure is our very first Christmas outreach, when Well House volunteers shopped alongside families in need and wrapped Christmas presents together in a Walmart parking lot under the glow of car headlights. It was a day filled with laughter, tears, and unforgettable reminders of what it means to love people in Jesus’ name. Tonya also treasures the years of serving at youth camp in Panama City Beach, especially watching their own sons invite friends to church and seeing those students experience authentic worship and the work of the Holy Spirit.

Jason says one of the greatest ways he has grown spiritually has been through the relationships he has built at Well House. Seeing God at work in the lives of friends and walking through life together has strengthened his faith. Tonya shares that House Groups, Bible studies, and the variety of classes at Well House have continually challenged and encouraged her to study God’s Word with fresh eyes alongside believers from different backgrounds.

When it comes to serving, Jason loves greeting people each Sunday morning, welcoming everyone who walks through the doors with a smile and helping them feel at home. Tonya has loved serving on the Set-Up Team since day one, not only because it helps prepare a place for worship, but because those early mornings have led to deep friendships, meaningful conversations, and plenty of laughter along the way.

We are so thankful for Jason and Tonya’s faithful leadership, servant hearts, and unwavering commitment to making Well House a place where people are welcomed, loved, and encouraged to grow in Christ.

What an awesome day!

Nearly 100 volunteers, all over our community, gathered to be the hands and feet of Jesus!

Serving at local schools like Goodlettsville Elementary School and Gateway Elementary School, Brookdale Senior Living, KinderCare Learning Center in Goodlettsville, the Millersville, TN Police Department, and even in local neighborhoods!

Painting, cleaning, sorting, hauling, weeding, decorating, and much, much more!

Our church showed up and showed out in a BIG way… but honestly, we are just trying to serve like Christ!

THIS COMING SUNDAY... A DAY FOR GOOD!

Church was never meant to be something we just attend. Jesus calls us to be people who serve others and bring His love with us.

That’s what A Day for Good is all about.

This Sunday, Well House Church is leaving the building and heading into our community to serve, encourage, help, love, and remind people that they matter to God, and they matter to us too!

Sometimes the love of Jesus looks like a sermon, and other times it looks like a paintbrush, a rake, a scrub brush, a trash bag, a helping hand, or simply someone asking, “How can I help?”

We’re not doing good so people will notice us. We’re doing good so people might catch a glimpse of Him. Because when God’s people do good, the world sees a good God.

Get ready, Well House. A Day for Good is THIS SUNDAY!

Well House Youth kicked off backed to school in style with a Nerf and Nachos night. A special thank you to Millersville, TN Police Department for not just showing up for the youth but really diving into the fun with us!

Have you ever noticed how naturally we share what we love?

A great restaurant.
A trusted mechanic.
A movie that made us laugh.
A product that actually worked.

We don't need to be experts. We simply tell people, "You've got to check this out."

Yet when it comes to Jesus, fear often steals our voice. We worry we'll say the wrong thing. We think we need all the answers. We wonder what people will think.

But Jesus never asked us to know everything. He simply invites us to point people toward Him.

The first followers didn't have theology degrees. They had a story. They had an encounter. And their invitation was beautifully simple:

"Come and see."

You don't have to argue or answer every question. Just invite someone to meet the One who changed your life.

After all, found people naturally want others to be found too.
