Lord, as a new school year begins, we pray for our teachers and students. Give teachers wisdom, patience, and strength, and give students courage, focus, and a desire to learn. Protect them, guide them, and help them reflect Your love in their schools each day. In Jesus’ name, amen.

This Sunday, as a new school year begins, we want to take time as a church family to pray over our students, teachers, and schools.

We’ll also continue our journey through Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount as we look at Matthew 7:1–6 and discover how examining our own hearts before we examine the lives of others leads us to live the way of Jesus.

When Anxiety Comes, Who Are You Trusting?

Anxiety can make us feel like everything is up to us—I need to fix this. I need to figure this out. I need to make sure everything will be okay.

But in Matthew 6:25–34, Jesus reminds us that our problems aren't bigger than our Father.

Jesus calls us to seek first God's kingdom, trust our Father with tomorrow, and faithfully live today.
