WORSHIP TONIGHT AT 6pm - join us!
On this Maundy Thursday, we remember a sacred and surprising act of love.

In John 13, Jesus kneels to wash the feet of his friends—taking on the role of a servant, offering care in its most humble form. Then he gives a simple, powerful command:
“Love one another. Just as I have loved you.”

In a world shaped by power and division, this kind of love still turns everything upside down. It is a love that shows up, that serves, that honors the dignity of every person.

Today, we are invited to embody that love—
in small acts of kindness,
in courageous compassion,
in showing up for one another, especially those most often overlooked.

May we live this love not just in word, but in action.

On Maundy Thursday, we remember Christ’s last meal with his disciples, but the central focus is his commandment that we love one another as he loves us. “The Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took a loaf of bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, ‘This is my body that is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.’ In the same way he took the cup also, after supper, saying, ‘This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.’ For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes” (1 Corinthians 11:23-26).
