The MCCC annual concert featuring the music of Dewey Forrester is Nov. 12. Joining Dewey this year is Tommy Webster and the Praise/Worship Team. Come hear great music of faith.
I am also excited to share the new Art Ministry of our church will be joining the MCCC in a Silent Auction and proceeds will benefit both the MCCC and the Art Ministry. The details are on the flyer. Tickets can be purchased on line at www.milledgevillecounseling.org , at the church, or from the board and staff members of the MCCC. The holidays are wonderful! The beauty of Fall into celebrations of family and friends into Thanksgiving and the Holidays of December!! Yet, for some it is a challenging time of year for facing loss, anxiety over life's transitions, caretaking, grief, and relationships. The Milledgeville Christian Counseling Center has a staff of trained counselors ready to support and help in matters such as these. The Golf Charity for the MCCC has been moved to Oct. 20th due to inclement weather due in for three days that will saturate the course. Thus, our event for Friday the 13th has been moved to Friday the 20th. Still starting at 4pm.
Go to www.milledgevillecounseling.org on our events page and sign up for a charity fundraiser for the MCCC! It is for ages 12yr and up to have a fun night of neon golf. We will start at 4pm in the light and play 9 holes, stop for a bite to eat, and play the last 9 holes with glow balls and neon lights on the course. Fun antics of red solo cup, and string used to gain a stroke or advantage. The scramble is meant to be friends and family fun while providing support for the ministry of counseling at the First Methodist Church of Milledgeville at 366 Log Cabin Rd.
