We had a wonderful time hosting the Northeast Georgia Presbytery Presbyterian Women’s fall workshop, which was a success with 37 PW members from across our Presbytery in attendance. The attendees brought canned goods for the FPC food pantry as their registration fee.

Our three presenters were well informed and we were truly blessed to have them with us. Elaine Wiegert presented the Bible study overview, Kate Gallop from Tharros Place shared about the work they do with young girls that have been trafficked, and Anne Hallum presented on AIR-Guatemala, which she founded over 30 years ago.

Thank you to our volunteers for helping make this gathering meaningful and well organized!

This offering supports the causes of racial justice, gender justice, peacemaking, global witness, and ecumenical & interfaith relations. FPC celebrates the impact of our ministries this ! So far in 2026 we have disbursed $13,334 in utility assistance through our Samaritan's Ministry and served an average of 48 households per month through our Food Pantry.

None of our regular budget goes towards this work; these ministries are powered by regular people like you. We accept donations online via our website or you can contact the church office to donate in-kind items.

Happy from our unofficial ambassa-dog, Jasper! His day job as a service dog doesn't stop him from playing the part of donkey, sheep, or whatever role the youth come up with for this patient canine.
