A New Chapter Is Ahead!
We are excited to finally share some wonderful news with our church family, friends, and community!
Following a nearly two-year journey of prayer, discernment, and searching, Eastminster United Presbyterian Church and St. Peter’s United Church of Christ have called Rev. Nicole Wilkinson, Ph.D., to serve as pastor of our shared ministry.
Eastminster and St. Peter’s are two distinct congregations, each maintaining our own denominational identity and traditions, while sharing in worship, ministry, mission, and pastoral leadership. Our two congregations worship together each Sunday at St. Peter’s church in Millbury.
Nicole has now informed her congregation in Cape May, New Jersey, of her decision to accept this new call. As she spends the coming weeks concluding her ministry there and preparing for her move to Northwest Ohio, we are looking forward to welcoming her to our churches and our community.
Nicole’s first Sunday with Eastminster and St. Peter’s will be November 1, 2026, with worship at 10:15 a.m.
Throughout this journey, we have been reminded again and again that God works in God’s time. We are grateful for the pastors who have faithfully walked alongside us during this season, for the many prayers that have surrounded us, and for all that God has in store for the chapter ahead.
Over the next several weeks, we’ll be sharing more as we prepare to welcome Nicole and begin this next chapter together.
And to our friends and neighbors in Millbury and the surrounding communities: our doors are always open to you, too. If you’ve been looking for a church home, thinking about returning to church, or are simply curious about what’s happening at Eastminster and St. Peter’s, we would be glad to have you worship with us any Sunday.
For now, we simply say: Welcome, Nicole! We’re looking forward to November and to all that God has in store for the journey ahead.
