“For the weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.” — 2 Corinthians 10:4 NIV
We cannot settle for a whitewashed, lukewarm encounter with God.
Some strongholds aren’t obvious. Some are built around the image we have of ourselves—and the image we want others to have of us.
What will they think?
How will I be perceived?
What if I’m exposed?
But we were never called to bow to self-image, reputation, or the approval of people.
We are called to humble ourselves before God.
True repentance means laying down our pride, our perception, our preferences, and our need for approval—and allowing Jesus to have His way in us.
Let every stronghold come down.
Let every false image be surrendered.
Let pride be humbled.
Let our hearts be fully His.
We don’t need to protect an image.
We need to encounter Jesus.
No more settling for the appearance of transformation. We want Jesus. We want truth. We want surrender.
