ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR AUGUST 23, 2026

The August Tentative Church Calendar is on the back table for your convenience.

Registration forms for Men's Link are on the back table. Please turn in by August 30. Church pays half of registration, return registration with payment for $65.00 to Susan Johnson

Thank you to Dean Hunker with Gideons for sharing his message with us today.

Next week we will welcome Bob Armstrong from Rockwood CMA.

Anyone who would like to become a member of the Church please see an Elder. August 30th during morning worship we will have Reception into Membership.

We will be collecting a love offering for Gideons following today’s message.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST, we will be collecting school supplies:
Children’s scissors – Glue sticks – Pencils – Erasers, Small packs of Playdough and Coloring books

OCC Shoe box needs: (List of items on back table)
***All items can be placed in the tote under the Caring and Sharing Table***

Greeters for Worship, Communion Servers and Volunteers for Lawn Mowing are needed. Sign up sheets are on the back table

Everyone is invited to join us for corporate prayer regarding our pastoral transition immediately following the service at the front of the sanctuary, to the right of the pulpit.

Anyone who would like to provide Special Music (Singing, Instrumental, etc.) on the 4th Sunday of any month, please contact an Elder.

If the Lord has led you to faith in Christ and you have not yet followed Him in believer's baptism, we encourage you to take this next step of faith. A baptism service will be held on August 30th.

Saturday August 15 the Youth Group will be having a Back to School Picnic Bash at Trent Beach Picnic Area in Laurel Hill State Park. Time 11:00am.

Gentlemen, mark your calendars – The Annual Men’s Link at Mahaffey Camp will be Friday and Saturday September 11-12.
