Mill City Christian Church We’re a Christ-centered church full of people with every kind of story you can imagine. Please come join us Sunday morning at 10AM.

As a church, we desire to be Christ centered in all we do – to be a place to hear God’s Word in truth and love. Without abandoning the familiar traditions of church, we strive to provide a place where people are more than numbers and the services are more than entertainment. We want to provide a comfortable environment where people can hear the life changing message of Christ’s Saving Grace in a loving Christian community.

🌭 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗕𝗕𝗤 𝗶𝘀 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗦𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗬! 🎉

We’re wrapping up summer and celebrating the start of a new school year with an afternoon for our whole community. Come hungry and bring the family!

We’ll have 𝗵𝗼𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗴𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗵 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹, 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰, 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗸𝗶𝗱𝘀. 🎨🎶 We’re also working on having a bounce house and hope it comes together for Sunday! The meal is potluck style, so bring a favorite side dish or dessert if you would like to share.

Don’t have anything to bring? 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝘄𝗮𝘆! There will be food, and there is always room at the table. Bring a neighbor or friend and spend the afternoon connecting with our community. ❤️

Today is the first day of school in our community! 📚🍎

As backpacks are packed, classrooms fill, and new routines begin, we are praying for our students, families, teachers, and school staff.

We pray God gives students courage as they walk into a new year. May He give teachers patience and wisdom as they care for the children entrusted to them. We pray for parents as they adjust to new schedules, new classrooms, and another year of watching their children grow.

Whether today brings excitement, nerves, a few tears, or a mixture of everything, remember that God goes with you.

“The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.”
Psalm 121:8

Our Community BBQ is just a few weeks away! On 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 13𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝗼𝗻, we’re gathering to celebrate the end of summer and the beginning of a new school year with our community.

We’ll have 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰, 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗸𝗶𝗱𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗼𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗴𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲. We’re hoping to have a live band and are also working on getting a bounce house. Lunch will be potluck style, so feel free to bring a favorite side dish or dessert to share.

As summer begins to wind down, many families are preparing for a change in rhythm. Backpacks are coming out, school supplies are being gathered, and calendars are filling up again.

In the middle of all that preparation, take a moment to pray. Pray for the students who feel excited and those who feel nervous. Pray for parents preparing for new routines, teachers getting classrooms ready, and school staff preparing to welcome students back.

“Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.”
Proverbs 16:3

As we head into a new school year, may we remember that God is already present in every classroom, every home, and every new beginning.
