Today we recognize Juneteenth—on June 19th, 1865, news of the abolition of slavery finally reached Galveston, Texas. Those in slavery there finally heard of their freedom. June 19th is a day that celebrates freedom, resilience, and hope.

As followers of Jesus, we remember that every person is created in the image of God and deeply loved by Him.

“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” — 2 Corinthians 3:17

We have Family Sunday at 10:30am where our elementary students will be in service with their families!

AND we have our Summer Kick-off Picnic🥳🥳 4-7pm at Community Park in Milford!
