We had a great Sunday yesterday! We got to send our Mexico Mission Team off in prayer, start our new series on the power of prayer in the life of a believer, and then we wrapped our volunteer training for kids morning camp! There are so many great things happening in the life of our church! Giving thanks to God!

Our students are heading out to Detroit on June 21st to serve local neighborhoods, build relationships, and share the love of Jesus through practical acts of service!
To help them prepare, we’re hosting a supply drive and collecting gift cards to Meijer and Home Depot! These donations help provide supplies needed for the service projects throughout the week. If you’re able to donate, please return the gift cards by this Sunday at the table in the lobby! Thank you!

Summer groups provide the opportunity to grow in community while reading topical books that help us live out what we believe. This summer we are offering book studies on the varied seasons of life: young mom, moms of teens, empty nesters, and a book on aging with grace. We are also offering a book for any season of life that focuses on our identity in Christ.

What a great community we get to be a part of!

What an incredible day at Johnson for Neighbor Day with Oak Pointe Church!

Yesterday, more than 20 volunteers from our local community generously gave their time and energy to help beautify our school grounds. From spreading 10 yards of mulch to preparing our landscaping for the spring and summer seasons, their hard work made a huge impact and helped make our campus look amazing!

We are so grateful for the partnership, kindness, and servant leadership shown by everyone who came out to support our school community. Not only did these volunteers help improve our campus, but they also set a powerful example for our students about what it means to serve others, take pride in your community, and truly Lead With PRIDE.

Thank you for investing your time and talents into Johnson as your efforts truly make a difference for our students, staff, and families.
