📅 Mark Your Calendar – CenterPoint Annual Cookout! 🎉🍔

Join us on Sunday, September 13th at 10:30 AM 🕥 under the pavilion 🏕️ for our annual CenterPoint Cookout! 🌭🍔

We'll kick off the day with an outdoor service 🙏☀️ — please note, there will be no 9:00 AM service that day.

After the service, stick around for food, fun, and fellowship! 🥳🍽️❤️ CenterPoint will provide burgers 🍔, hot dogs 🌭, and water 💧.

We're asking each family to bring a side dish or dessert to share. 🥗🍪🍰

To make this event a success, we're also looking for volunteers 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️ to help with:

🧹 Cleanup

This year’s annual Young Life Tri-States golf tournament will take place on 9/14 at the High Point Golf Club at 342 Shore Drive, Montague, New Jersey, 07827. Expect a 9 AM shotgun start and a lunch barbecue buffet to be served between 1:30 and 2 PM at the club’s Blue Heron Bar and Grill. Coffee, tea, and a bagel breakfast will be offered, along with waters, iced tea, and soda made available for you throughout the day.
A $150 entry fee (per golfer) will cover a bagel breakfast, one round of golf with the use of a cart, a barbecue buffet lunch, and a custom gift. You will be grouped with the foursome of your choice!

One of our favorite things to do is to celebrate Communion. It’s a time for us to reflect and remember what Jesus has done for us. It is not only an act of worship, but also a time for unifying us in community. Anyone who is a follower of Jesus is welcome to participate. Join us this Sunday as we remember and celebrate Jesus!

The Shohola Backpack Program has been supporting students who have been identified with food insecurities by supplying breakfast, lunch and snacks for children over the weekend when they are not receiving school provided meals. Our efforts are coordinated through the school counselor, who has identified families that opt into the program. Last year we served 12 families weekly. Bags are prepared per student and dropped off to the counselor who discreetly sends them home in the child’s backpack on Fridays.

To help restock our pantry, we are seeking mini muffins, individual cereal boxes, cans of soup, Spaghettios, Chef Boyardee, tuna, individual pretzel, popcorn and chips bags as well as fruit cups, apple sauce and crackers.

Food can be dropped off at the donation box at Centerpoint or for online shoppers scan the QR code.
