The Jesuit Spiritual Center at Milford seeks an Associate Director of Youth Ministry to assist the Director with the preparation and implementation of all facets of youth retreats. Responsibilities include overseeing the day-to-day operations of the youth ministry program; planning, preparing, staffing and facilitating retreats and programs; and working collaboratively with campus ministers, teachers, pastoral associates and principals. Must excel in large group facilitation and communication. This position does require evening and weekend work. The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree or equivalent education. You know the longings of our hearts, and you desire that we enjoy friendship with you.

From your pierced side, you have poured out the wellspring of life, for which we thirst.

Your heart burns with a love for all people to return to a right relationship with you.

We celebrate the abundant gifts you have given this nation, founded on the self-evident truths that our Creator has endowed all people with the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

We make reparation for the offenses against you and against human dignity that have taken place in this nation.

What a blessed year it has been! We are beyond grateful for our two wonderful missionaries, John (left) and Caleb (right), who completed the program last Thursday. Donna Heid (center) presented them with certificates to mark the completion of their missionary year. John will be joining the Conventual Franciscans in Chicago, while Caleb will enter seminary for the diocese of Columbus. Please keep these two men in your prayers as they pursue their vocations.

Last Thursday we celebrated the retirement of Fr. Paul Macke, SJ. On behalf of the JSC, Executive Director Stephen Poat presented him with a brick to honor his 9 years of faithful service. It will be placed in our Jesuit Brick Patio. Thank you, Fr. Paul, for all the wonderful things you have done and for all the people you have inspired while at JSC.
