Reformation Lutheran Church

Reformation Lutheran Church REFORMATION LUTHERAN CHURCH: A thriving Community of Faith in Southern Central Delaware shaped by Christ's love, strengthened by the grace of God.

Welcome to Reformation Lutheran Church! If you are curious to learn more about us, let me tell you this first: this is a church that welcomes newcomers! This is a place filled with warmth and enthusiasm, and I am confident you will find a welcome here. You can also expect to find God’s love for you here. No matter where you are in life, no matter what your story, Jesus offers you unconditiona

l love. At its best, “church” is a place where imperfect, unfinished people come together to be forgiven, healed, and strengthened by the grace of God. Shaped by Christ’s love, we can become part of his mission to bless this world with the grace we ourselves have been given. As we love each other, serve those in need, join together in fellowship, celebrate worship and prayer, and study God’s Word together, the Holy Spirit works to transform our lives. Our congregation continues to redefine life and ministry for Reformation. Having been led and sustained by him in the past, we are constantly looking to discover where God is calling us to go next. Maybe that sounds like you, too. Maybe you’re wondering what the next chapter of your story will be. Or maybe you’re having a hard time seeing how God has been in the picture at all. Or perhaps you’re hungry to go deeper in your walk of faith. Wherever you are, we welcome you to join us for worship, Bible study, and fellowship. If you want to know more, feel free to call me at 302-422-9117, or email me at [email protected]. Also, for sermon “teasers” and follow-up reflections, as well as general thoughts about faith and life, you can friend me on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/pastor.eric.evers, or follow me on Twitter at http://twitter.com/mit4trs. Here at Reformation, we are blessed to follow a Lord who leads us into new life. We invite you to come and get to know Jesus along with us. Come and see what God has in store for you in this family of faith! In Christ,
Pastor Eric Evers

"Tools for Learning, Tools for Life" Festival of The Holy Trinity & Church Music Sunday, May 31, 2026 Worship Video

We are so glad you’re joining Reformation for online worship! We hope that this time of prayer, song, and hearing the Word of God will help you to go deeper in your relationship with Jesus and grow in your love and service. In our Gospel reading from Matthew 28:16-20, Jesus commissions his disciples to carry on his ministry and share his love with all people. This is our joyful task today, as his faithful disciples. In this sermon, Pastor Paige explores what it means to teach, pass on, and obey Jesus' words through our speech, our daily acts of service, and our worship.

We invite you to go to www.rlcmilford.com/give to invest in our ministry. At that link, you will find ways to make online donations to provide the resources needed for our church to keep on reaching out with the love of Jesus. Thank you for your generous support!

We are so glad you’re joining Reformation for online worship as the season of Easter continues! We hope that this time of prayer, song, and hearing the Word of God will help you to go deeper in your relationship with Jesus and grow in your love and service. What can we do? In a world threatened by war, a society divided by partisanship and lies, and a culture driven by self-indulgence, what can Christians do? On the festival of Pentecost, we remember the sending of the Holy Spirit on the first Christians. With the Spirit came power and purpose for a tiny band of believers to change the course of history. So the question isn't "what can we do," but rather, "What will the Holy Spirit do through us?" Today's sermon, based on Numbers 11, Acts 2, and John 20, will bring challenge and encouragement.

We invite you to go to www.rlcmilford.com/give to invest in our ministry. At that link, you will find ways to make online donations to provide the resources needed for our church to keep on reaching out with the love of Jesus. Thank you for your generous support!

Thank you to everyone who participated in "Living Jesus!" this year. The team put on creative events, and everyone grew in our faith in Jesus. We also got to know each other better! At this past Sunday's event, we heard the story of Pentecost. (By the way, remember to wear red to church this Sunday, May 24, to celebrate the Day of Pentecost.)

Look for information about next year's Living Jesus! ministry to come out toward the end of the summer. Jesus is ALIVE and his love powers our LIVES, too! We are grateful to follow our Lord and Savior, our Living Jesus!

Jesus is Lord! On this seventh and last Sunday of the Easter season, we are in between the time of Christ's Ascension (this past Thursday) and the sending of the Holy Spirit. It is a good time to admit that sometimes, it feels like Jesus isn't Lord. That he isn't around. In this sermon based on 1 Peter 4 & 5 and John 17, Pastor Eric helps us find encouragement and strength when life looks like Jesus isn't in charge. Jesus is never absent, never far away, especially in life's challenges.

We invite you to go to www.rlcmilford.com/give to invest in our ministry. At that link, you will find ways to make online donations to provide the resources needed for our church to keep on reaching out with the love of Jesus. Thank you for your generous support!
