Day 4. We had a special birthday Happy 17 Savannah!! Her first happy birthday was at 00:07 and many more followed! We started at Cafe Du Monde for the famous beignet!! Then some service at the interactive center. We made homeless mats from plastic bags. Last convention only two were made, we were working on the 8th which is so awesome. Dan sewed diapers for orphan grain train from T shirts. We had a special dinner with Pastor Bill Ryden he sends his love and good wishes to everyone at Good Shepherd and was so happy to get somewhat caught up!! It was so good to see him and his youngest son Nathaniel. Mass event last with some amazing worship. It's been beautiful to see the evolution of these kids in worship here. 💜

Day two. What a day! Sessions on Boundaries that strengthen relationships, endurance requires rest; how to break free from over commitment and burnout, scientifically when does life begin, three lies about your worth.... Then our Bible study ...theme: Jesus Endures Like No Other (Hebrews 10-12) More sessions including; humans versus machines: when artificial intelligence thinks for us, Communion: the naked truth about the Lord's supper. Then we were off to the French quarter and took a ferry across the Mississippi River for our supper at a couple local restaurants. We finished the night with the mass event which brought tears and some pretty impactful worship!!! Flame (Lutheran rap/hip hop) concert to finish with a wrap up at the hotel as a small group!These kids are amazing and this has been such a great day!!!! Tomorrow we have our off-site servant event. Please keep praying for us Good Shepherd Lutheran Church !!!
