Today we celebrated the 65th anniversary of parishioners Barbara and George Knoth. Father Nicholas presented the Knoths with a special certificate and we all prayed a special blessing with them. Festivities continued at coffee hour.

Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome bring spices to anoint the body of Jesus and find an empty tomb and a young man saying “Do not be alarmed; you are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has been raised; he is not here. Look, there is the place they laid him. But go, tell his disciples and Peter that he is going ahead of you to Galilee; there you will see him, just as he told you” (Mark 16:1-8). The Lord is risen indeed, alleluia! Happy Easter to all!
