Sad news from Riverside:

Riverside Christian School is heartbroken to share the passing of Mrs. Nancy Hostetler. Since 1959, Mrs. Ho has been a faithful servant to RCS and our entire community. Her life has impacted hundreds of students, coworkers, friends, and strangers, and her legacy will continue to impact our school and community.

We are deeply saddened by our loss, but overjoyed by the peace and promise of her eternal life with Jesus Christ.

Please be in prayer for the entire Hostetler family 💛💜

Just to clarify, any $ designated for Riverside in your offering *was given* to them yesterday.
It was too complicated to explain yesterday in the presentation, but the General Council decided we would accept offerings and give $1,000 no matter what came in. If $500 comes in, we will take $500 our of the budget in addition. If $700 is given in your offerings, we'll take $300 out of the budget.
It makes it a little more complicated but we wanted to really bless the school and this was done to ensure we would be able to give a great amount on short notice.
If you still want to give, you can do so in the coming weeks too.
