As we celebrate today weather your running around busy visiting family and making dinner, or hanging out at home let us remember the true meaning of Easter. That our savior died for us, to save us from our own sin even though he had never sinned himself! Let us take time to remember and thank God for sacrificing his own son for us. Happy Easter! ✝️

Tonight we had our annual adult white elephant dinner and this year we added a kids version! (No pictures because kids are chaos lol) we started with dinner right after service, and played the game which was such a blast! We are so thankful for our congregation, for helping provide food, covert for helping with decorations and organizing food, and Katrina for organizing the whole event! And thank you Steve and Carl for organizing and running the kids game!

Are we loving as God loves?

The answer should be yes but we are human. We hate people and disregard people and have many other feelings towards people that God never does.

God love us unconditionally. God loves us because of who he is not because of who we are. God loves us no matter what we do or say. God sent his one and only son to die for us! All because he loves us.

Gods love to us is not like other loves.

Often it is hard for us to understand Gods love for us, because it’s like no other. Gods love isn’t weighted on how much we love him back, he just loves. He loves us no matter who we are, what we do, or what we say! That is Gods love, whole and unconditional.

And we should love like God. We should love people no matter who they are or what they’ve done! But often we fall short in the love department.

So now we are asking you to love as God does. Whole heartily and unconditional no matter who it’s is. Love and spread the gospel, because now is a better time than ever! We are called to make disciples of all nations but how can we do that with no love? So love as God does everyday!

“But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.”

Jesus is the perfect witness to God. Everything he did was for God and in Gods image. If you were to be asked if Jesus was the perfect witness the majority would say yes he was.

But what about when things are hard?
What about when Jesus and God are telling you to do things you don’t want to?
What about when God is doing things in you life that you believe are wrong?
Would you still think he and Jesus are the perfect and faithful witness to your life?

The answer should still be yes but sometimes we may think otherwise.

When we are struggling and God/Jesus is telling us to do something we may think “what is he thinking that can’t be right?! Does he really see what going on in my life right now?”. And the answer to that is yes God is the perfect witness in your life! He sees everything you’ve ever been though, he even knows what you’ll go through in the future. Weather you follow what God says or not he knows what’s going to happen in your life.

And that makes Jesus the perfect witness to your life through God. Jesus sits on the throne next to God he knows everything that will happen to you. And that’s why we need to listen to him and God and lean on them to direct our lives, not lean on the world or what is happening in our lives.

THEY ARE BACK! The Hewlett family who has been in chile since February returned this Sunday! We are so happy to have them back home safe and sound. They plan to stay for an unknown amount of time then head back!
