Today isn’t just another Friday… this is the day love was proven.

Jesus didn’t just talk about sacrifice, He became it.
He carried the weight, the pain, the nails… for us.
And what hits different is this, He knew what was coming… and still said YES.

Not because it was easy.
Not because it felt good.
But because we were worth it.

Today, take a moment and reflect.
Not just on the cross… but on the kind of love that would choose you, even knowing everything about you.

“But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8

Ladies…
We’re coming together for Women’s Sunday, and I truly believe it’s going to be a powerful time in God’s presence.

Theme: Still Standing: Becoming HER Through Every Season! 🌸

Because if we’re honest… life has a way of testing us. There are moments that could’ve taken us out, discouraged us, or made us want to give up. And even if you did in that moment, can we Celebrate that, You’re still Here… and You’re still Becoming AND YOU'RE STILL STANDING, EVEN IF IT FEELS LIKE YOU’RE BARELY HANGING ON! 🙏🏽

And that matters.

We want you in the room today. Bring a sister, bring a friend, or just come as you are. There’s something here for you. We have several Women who will be sharing on today. Not a Preach at you message, but a Word to Encourage You in the Midst of Your Journey through, by way of us keeping it Real about our own Journey and others we read about in the Word of God who Overcame!

Last night at DVIWC Women’s Department – Prayer Board Night, we had an ahmazing time together.

There’s just something special that happens when women gather with intention. The room was filled with food, fun, biblical stories, laughter, creativity, encouragement, and most of all… Faith.

Each woman created her own Prayer Board, placing the things she is believing God for right in front of her eyes, visions, promises, prayers, and dreams.

As the boards came together piece by piece, so did the conversations. Stories were shared, hearts were lifted, and faith was strengthened. It wasn’t just about making boards… it was about declaring what we are trusting God to do in this next season of our lives.

Some boards represented Healing.
Some represented Family. Some Health regarding Mental, Physical, Financial.

Some represented Business, Purpose, and New Beginnings.

But every single board represented Hope & Belief!

Watching each woman focus on her vision and prayer requests was Powerful. These boards will serve as daily reminders that when we put our Faith before God, We Pray, and keep our eyes on His promises, we position ourselves to see His hand move.

DVIWC Women’s Department, we grow, pray, and believe together.

Some mornings you wake up ready to handle everything… and then there are mornings where it’s a full victory you found matching socks and made it out the door on time. And honestly, both days count.

Because God isn’t only near during the big wins and breakthrough moments. He’s just as present in the regular parts of life, the school drop-offs, the work & financial deadlines, the traffic that won’t move, and that laundry pile that somehow keeps growing overnight. None of that is small to Him, even if it feels small to us.

Once you realize He’s already in the middle of your actual day, not the put-together version of it, the pressure to have it all together before talking to Him starts to lift. Some days all you’ve got is a quiet, “Lord… I’m leaning on You today,” while you keep going, and somehow that’s enough.

And it’s usually right there that peace shows up… in the exact place pressure was trying to settle in.
Daily reminder: you don’t have to get life under control before coming to God. He meets you in the middle of it.

“Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28

Take a breath today.
You’re not carrying this by yourself.

"Can We Encourage You on Today?"

There are seasons when life feels loud and successful and full, and then there are seasons where you are doing everything you know to do and still wondering if anybody truly sees the weight you’re carrying.

Hagar wasn’t trying to be dramatic. She was overwhelmed. She was pregnant, mistreated, and emotionally exhausted, and the wilderness felt easier than the tension she had been living in. Some of us understand that feeling, when stepping away feels safer than staying in something heavy.

But what moves me every time is this: God met her there. Not in a sanctuary. Not in a celebration. In the middle of dry land. And she called Him El Roi — the God who sees me.

That means whether you are thriving, rebuilding, or quietly pushing through something nobody else knows about, heaven is not confused about your location. You are not invisible. You are not forgotten. You are not just “managing.” You are seen.

“You are the God who sees me.” Genesis 16:13
Walk this week knowing you are fully seen and fully covered.

This week was our DVIWC Women’s Department Galentines. Our Host team lead by Elder Bridgette Bowen and Min. Camesha Anglin did an Ahmazing job putting everything together, along with the help of other sisters. It was a beautiful time of Fun, Food, Fellowship, Laughter, Unity and Community amongst the sisters. 🩷We've already planned our next experience together and I'm already excited about.🤗❤️
