DAY 8 OF THE SACRED HEART NOVENA - JUNE 10
The consecration to the Sacred Heart is tomorrow at the 5:15 PM Mass. Let us approach the most merciful Lord with all humility.

O Jesus! When You were a Pilgrim on earth, You said:
“Learn of Me
for I am gentle and humble of heart and you will find rest for your
souls.” O Mighty Monarch of Heaven, my soul finds rest in seeing
You, clothed in the form and nature of a slave, humbling Yourself to
wash the feet of Your apostles... I beg You, my Divine Jesus, to send
me a humiliation whenever I try to set myself above others. I know
that You humble the proud soul but to the one who humbles one’s
self. You give an eternity of glory... To obtain this grace of Your
infinite mercy I will very often repeat:
“O Jesus, gentle and humble
of heart, make my heart like Yours!”

On June 12, we will participate in the Worldwide Rosary for Priests, praying especially for the sanctification and perseverance of priests. Mass for the Sacred Heart of Jesus will follow at 5:30 PM. All are encouraged to participate!

Today, the Bishops of the United States will consecrate the United States of America to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Parishes and individuals around the country are encouraged to join the U.S. Catholic bishops in this historic occasion, beginning with this Prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus written for the consecration.

Ayer por la mañana, nuestra estatua de la Inmaculada Concepción fue vandalizada. Estamos colaborando con la policía y la persona responsable ya ha sido identificada. Les pedimos que nos tengan presentes en sus oraciones, tanto a nosotros como a la persona en cuestión.

Yesterday morning, we had our Immaculate conception statue vandalized. We are working with the police and the troubled person has been identified. Please keep us and the individual in your prayers.
