God is on the Move!
We are in an intensified season of walking out what we believe and standing in confidence of what God has said over our lives, our purposes and families. One thing that is important to remember is that God is never surprised by our circumstances. In fact, he’s already aware of the next steps even before we begin to take them.
I really enjoy playing checkers because I am looking strategically at several different moves that could be taken and before I take a move, I’m anticipating what my opponent will do next. Just like playing this game, or other strategic type game, God is never surprised by the things that surprise us.
This is where our faith gets to be put into action, where we stand on the promises even when the next step is not clear. I love the song “Way Maker” where it says,
“Even when I don’t see it, you’re workin’
Even when I don’t feet it, you’re workin’
You never stop. You never stop workin’…”
He NEVER stops working for us!
As a nation, we are faced with a lot of different challenges we didn’t anticipate. For example, the coronavirus concern and the stock market decline are things that have begun to disrupt and change our normal process of life. But remember, none of this surprises God. He is always at work and we need to co-labor with him and trust Him. We need to be ready to take the next step even when we don’t clearly see the step before us.
Even in the midst of adversity my faith is stirred to action and I am so excited as I am anticipating and waiting to see what God is going to do next because I know that for myself, Renee’ cannot do anything; but with God nothing is impossible.
We did not anticipate having a sudden emergency surgery for my father yesterday that required a life-style change and shift; but what I am confident about is that God is still in control and I am learning to rest and remain in him. Therefore, I am fully anticipating and eagerly waiting to see what God is going to do next.
We look forward to sharing all the testimonies of where God has been several steps ahead and it has been amazing! Tomorrow
Friday, March 13 is actually my father‘s birthday and we are excited to celebrate his life and continued service to the Lord
We will not have service this Friday as we continue to focus on family needs, however, please join us next Friday for Gateway Ministries' Impact Night.
We do anticipate that God will impact us in ways that are outside of our comfort zones for He is bringing us (we believers) up to a new standard.
Love and blessings,
Renee Voegelin
