When the winds howl and the night feels endless, look for the steady light. Like a lighthouse guiding ships and a harbor holding them safe, God's Word and prayer steer us and shelter us. Scripture is a lamp to our feet (Psalm 119:105) and prayer keeps our hearts anchored in the One who calms the sea—together they give us peace, direction, and strength.

Today: pause for five minutes. Read one verse—then tell God one worry or decision and listen in the quiet. Let His Word point the way and prayer steady your heart.

Short prayer: Lord, be our steady light and safe harbor; calm our fears, guide our steps, and fill us with Your peace. Amen.

Let God’s Word be your light and prayer your harbor.
