What if you gave just 2 hours a month to love like Jesus?

We believe serving our community doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes it looks like showing up, lending a hand, and building relationships. That’s why we’re challenging everyone at GCR to give 2 hours a month to serve alongside one of our local mission partners!

Come to our Local Missions Ministry Fair this Sunday and find a place to jump in.

You’ll have the opportunity to learn more and sign up to serve with:
Emerson Elementary — Join the Fist Bump Crew to encourage teachers, love on students, and be a positive presence at our adopted elementary school.
Opportunity Tribe — Lead a Fun Club during lunch at a local elementary school. Read with a small group of students and build positive relationships.
Family Promise — Serve at our annual Harvest Party at Family Promise or help provide meals, hospitality, and support for families experiencing homelessness.
Mission Agape — Serve families across the Permian Basin through food distribution, weekend food bags, and Christ's love.

Our first night of Midweek was awesome! From worship and classes to laughter, friendships, and time together, it was so good to see our church family back together in the middle of the week.

We’re grateful for the energy, the conversations, the volunteers who make it happen, and especially for the ways God is working in the lives of our people.

COME PRAY OVER EMERSON

As we begin another school year, we have an opportunity to gather as a church family and pray over the students, teachers, staff, and families of Emerson Elementary, one of the schools we are blessed to partner with.

We’ll gather at Emerson on Saturday at 9:30 am for a time of prayer, then walk around the school together, praying over the classrooms, hallways, playgrounds, and everyone who will walk through the doors this year.

Come join us as we ask God to bless Emerson and the entire school community. We would love to have you there!

What a Sunday at GCR!

Today we celebrated FOUR baptisms and four lives changed by Jesus!

Four baptisms. Families changed. Faith passed between generations. What a beautiful picture of the church!

God is good, and we have so much to celebrate!
