He is risen… just as He said. ✝️

“He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. Then go quickly and tell His disciples: He has risen from the dead…” — Matthew 28:6–7

Today is a reminder that the grave could not hold Him, and darkness could not overcome the promise. What once seemed like the end became the greatest victory the world has ever known.

The stone was rolled away—not so He could get out, but so we could see in… and believe.

Because He lives, there is hope where there was fear.
Because He lives, there is life where there was death.
Because He lives, your story is not over.

Go quickly and share the good news—He is risen!

What a great night last night hanging with everyone last night. We will be meeting again on Sunday the 29th at 6pm.

We continued our discussion this week on real vs. fake christians and how to make sure we are following God and not the world.

I gave everyone a little bit of "homework" for this coming weekend so that we can learn to respond in a biblically way if we must respond.

The following statements I want you to ask yourself two questions.
1. Is this True or False?
2. What Scripture would you use to respond?

Statements:
1. God just wants you to be happy.
2. Loves means never confronting someone.
3. It doesn't matter how you live as long as you believe.
4. The Bible is outdated.
5. You should always follow your heart.

We invite anyone to come and join this discussion as we continue our series this week.

We will be having a Taco bar on the 29th.

Bring your appetite, a friend, and your Bible. And this week bring your answers to the statements so we can all learn from each other in a Biblically way to respond to things.

Faith is not being perfect.
Faith IS choosing Jesus again and again.

"Without faith it is impossible to please Him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who seek him". - Hebrews 11:6

As we get ready to meet this Sunday and continue our discussion about discerning faith I would like everyone to think about some questions.

1. What makes faith difficult at your age?
2. How can someone grow in faith?
3. What does real faith look like at school or your workplace?

We are excited to dive into the word this weekend we are on week 3 of our series of Discerning true faith in a confused world. (We will do a recap of week 1&2 since it has been a few weeks)

This week we will be discussing the Warning signs of false christianity.

Remember with this we need to stick to what God says in the bible and not what the world tells us. Come with your thought and questions and we will dive into the scripture to help us navigate this topic.

As always we will provide dinner. All we ask is you bring your bible and a friend.

I wanted to let everyone know that next month is a tricky month for me. We will not be meeting again until March 22nd. I apologize for not having all of that figured out last night. I hope y'all enjoy the break and see you guys on the 22nd. I will post some questions to think about for our next meeting to help keep you guys thinking about our topics.

We will be meeting tonight to start our new series Real or Fake? - Discerning True Faith in a Confused World

We will start by talking about what it means to be a Christian and how God calls us to be. Because how do we figure out who is a real Christian and who is Fake if we don’t know what God says. Join us tonight starting at 6pm as we explore Gods word.

We will be having Sloppy Joes.

There will be no youth group this weekend due to the superbowl. We will be meeting the following weekend Feb 15th at 6pm.

Our Topic will be Grieving with God - How we can lean on God through our grief.

On the menu will be potato soup with all the toppings.

After I got in tonight I was told that our next meeting falls on Super Bowl Sunday. We will need to postpone our meeting to either the following weekend or move it to the 22nd. Please comment with what you would like to do. I can make either the 15th or the 22nd work.
